Welcome

Welcome to my website. I'm a graduate student in the Geography Department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where I study people-environment geography.

I am also a fellow with the Certificate on Humans and the Global Environment (CHANGE) IGERT program, and an affiliate of the Center for History, Culture, and the Environment. My main research interests center on how people conceive of the environment and how they make decisions about husing and interacting with their environments. I'm particularly interested in the ways in which government actions interact with social institutions, and how these interactions abet or hinder people's ability to live sustainably.
